I'm excited, because warped tour is tomorrow for Pittsburgh!! I still have yet to get my ticket too haha.

We got a show to play on Wednsday! It was pretty easy to get it, considering I work there.

That's right. We're playing at a pool. Poolside Eye Candy is playing at a pool. Haha I crack myself up.

We still, of course, have a lot of preparing to do until then. I mean, it is going to be a pretty big deal at the pool. We have probably close to 15 cover songs, and 4 original songs; 2 with lyrics, 2 without. I only memorized the lyrics to one of our own, so theres obviously some work that still needs to be done. They all sound really good though - I'm actually surprised at how good we sound when we play.

We still need to make a set list, make/put up fliers, get new strings on the bass and guitar, maybe get new drum heads, and of course PRACTICE.

I'm so excited. This is basically our first real show and a ton of people are coming. It's craziness.

Make sure you go if you live in the Pittsburgh area!! haha.

I've found it very easy to start writing my own music lately. We've needed to start moving away from just doing cover songs. The other night, I wrote my first set of lyrics. They actually are pretty well structured and flow very nicely. Of course I did take the ryhme scheme of a song that was already made and just wrote my own words hah.

Pretty soon we're going to start recording; we want to try doing one of our cover songs first, and then move on to the more original stuff. I have a TON of guitar parts that we can record. We just need some lyrics to go along with them lol. I'm pretty excited about this hehe.

So I still have been feeling this so called love feeling. It just can't go away, and I can't make it go away. I don't know what to do.

It's not even so much that I want to not feel it anymore. It's that I want to feel it so much, that I don't - At least that's how I felt today around this person. Maybe it's just because we were both around a lot of people when we were together - I kinda really just want to be alone with her and talk, but it's hard for that to happen. I guess that's why I feel this pain so much.

Oh well. There's a reason for everything, right? Then maybe I was just supposed to fall for her even though it may never be mutual. But I'm sure I'll know why soon enough.
