Today has been such a boring day. I went to work at 11 and it was just crappy out the whole time I was there. Nobody came to the pool - big surprise. It sucked cause we couldn't leave early because some of the board members complained that we closed too early when it was like this last time. I did get to leave about a half hour early than I should have though.

I have to swim in a meet tonight too, and I kinda don't want to if it's gonna be like this for the rest of the day. Of course it's outside too So my bet is that the water is gonna be freezing.

Also, if you didn't notice, I made a new layout featuring The Clash. Whatever, I like it. I'm working on something a lot better though. I'll put it up in a week or two I guess.

Looks like I finally got everything up and running! It took almost two weeks to get all my files set up as well as customizing Wordpress, but hey I'm new to it hehe. I'm so glad that I made the switch. I've only had it for two weeks now, and already I like it A LOT more than Cutenews.

I've been able to fully customize everything exactly the way that I want it, and I've had no trouble getting help as far as editing goes. I did have Maggie and Paige there to guide me though haha.

I did make a lot of changes around my whole site too. I decided to take out a lot of the pages I don't really need, and just keep it nice and simple with only the ones I do. I edited the typical "about me" page and made it a little bigger, but other than that, everything is the same. I still have a few things to add, but I'll do that later.

So working at the pool has only gotten better. I enjoy it everyday I'm there. I'm getting a buttload of hours there too. My first paycheck was $270! Needless to say, I was excited about that haha.

Tonight there's actually supposed to be a lifeguard party at the pool after it closes. The plan is to take aqua tone (used to clean the scum line), put it on the plastic tables, then make a slide out of them, and slide down this big hill into the pool. Sounds fun doesn't it? I'll let you know how that goes if I don't die doing it.
