The show went pretty good yesterday. Except for the fact the my drummer is a controlling, manipulative asshole who screams at me all the time. We started playing one of our originals - It has words, but at the time I could not remember them. So I decided not to sing it, just play without words. It sounds pretty good without words anyway. Of course, my drummer would not stand for this and had to throw a little fit about it in front of everyone while we were playing the song. He kept yelling at me, SING THE DAMN SONG YOU FAGGOT! I kept trying to tell him that I couldn't remember the words. But he just kept yelling at me. The show was fine after that, but that's not the only time he's done something like this to me. We practice a lot. A few times a week. And of course he yells at me then too because i sometimes mess up, or forget a part to a song. But that's practice, of course we'll screw up then. Yesterday before the show, he wrote a note to my boss saying that the two of us can't work next friday because we're playing a show. That pissed me off a lot, because first off he didn't tell me about the show, and then he said I couldn't work without asking me. And it turns out that I can work the earlier shift that day because the show doesn't start until 7. I don't know what to do. I don't want him to treat me like shit anymore. I just need a break from him for a while. I mean, he is my friend. But he just has this bad temper, and doesn't care about anything. I know who Ima talk to about this... Mr. B. He'll know what to do.

We got a show to play on Wednsday! It was pretty easy to get it, considering I work there. That's right. We're playing at a pool. Poolside Eye Candy is playing at a pool. Haha I crack myself up. We still, of course, have a lot of preparing to do until then. I mean, it is going to be a pretty big deal at the pool. We have probably close to 15 cover songs, and 4 original songs; 2 with lyrics, 2 without. I only memorized the lyrics to one of our own, so theres obviously some work that still needs to be done. They all sound really good though - I'm actually surprised at how good we sound when we play. We still need to make a set list, make/put up fliers, get new strings on the bass and guitar, maybe get new drum heads, and of course PRACTICE. I'm so excited. This is basically our first real show and a ton of people are coming. It's craziness.  Make sure you go if you live in the Pittsburgh area!! haha.

Today has been such a boring day. I went to work at 11 and it was just crappy out the whole time I was there. Nobody came to the pool - big surprise. It sucked cause we couldn't leave early because some of the board members complained that we closed too early when it was like this last time. I did get to leave about a half hour early than I should have though. I have to swim in a meet tonight too, and I kinda don't want to if it's gonna be like this for the rest of the day. Of course it's outside too Also, if you didn't notice, I made a new layout featuring The Clash. Whatever, I like it. I'm working on something a lot better though. I'll put it up in a week or two I guess. I guess thats it. Peace.
